In this series I have incorporated a wine glass into the composition of the nude. The vice in this painting is red wine as suggested by the title, but perhaps there is more of a hint of sexuality and immortality suggested by the pose and expression on the woman's face. This is a sensitive and sensuous depiction of a nude reclining on a bed. She is drinking a glass of red wine. There is a beautiful glow and play of shadows across her body. The decorative pillow add a sumptuous quality to the piece. This is a print from an original watercolor drawn by hand in pencil on watercolor paper and then painted with watercolor in a traditional manner.
